Personal Statement
The labs were the best way to explore GIS and I learned the most by following the instructions in the assignments, this allowed me to build a toolbox of ArcMap skills. Working on the final project has made me realize that I should stop trying to be in control of everything all the time, other people who are better at certain tasks were best suited to lead those components of the project. The highlight of this course was the final project because we were allowed to design our own project which allowed for a synthesis of all the skills build up throughout the course to be utilized.
